Our Story

Zio Cecio is locally owned and operated by Italian Culinary Master Chef, Francesco Farris. Farris spent his childhood years in Orosei, Sardinia where he developed his passion for cooking by working at his families’ hotel/restaurant. In 1991, Farris brought his authentic, Sardinian-style cooking to the United States to pursue a career in the restaurant industry.

Zio Cecio, which was founded in October 2011, creates a romantic atmosphere in a charming and intimate setting. The restaurant’s menu boasts a wide array of authentic appetizers, desserts, pastas, risottos, vegetables, fresh seafood and organic beef, lamb, pork and chicken. In addition, Zio Cecio also offers an extensive wine list featuring fine wines from different regions in California, France and Italy.
